Degree of Master in Business Administration in Aviation Management

Aviation today is one of the most dynamic fast growing industries in the world and  will  continue  to  be so  in the near future as countries complete their transition to market economies. It is also operating in a highly competitive environment. Growing consumer demands dictate an efficient commercial approach. Aviation today demands more know- how from civil aviation, airport and airline managers than ever before.

The managing of air transport sector and civil aviation requires staff to be trained in every aspect of operational, legal, financial and economic development in the area of aviation. The developments in aviation management are changing so fast that a constant updating of the knowledge is needed.

Considering this the Maastricht School of Management ( Netherlands ) with Al-Balqa' Applied  University /Queen Noor Civil Aviation Tech. College (Jordan) have signed a Collaboration Agreement in 1999, to provide in Jordan the Degree of Master in Business Administration in Aviation Management. The MBA Degree will be jointly implemented by MSM and BAU/ QNCATC in Jordan at Queen Noor Civil Aviation Tech. College to meet the demands of the region. The course leading to the MBA Degree is designed to be completed in 24 months. Lectures are conducted in seven modules of ten days each. A break of three months will follow each module. This setup enables the participants to be away from their full time job responsibilities for a short period only.The Program also includes a European Attachment for a period of 2 weeks. Maastricht School of Management and Al-Balqa' Applied University will grant the degree to persons  who have satisfactorily fulfilled  the conditions for such award including the passing of examinations.

COURSE AIM


To provide an international management education that enables its graduates to become effective managers: -

  • To develop the ability of participants to operate effectively in
    a multicultural environment and to adapt quickly to changing social , political, legal and economical conditions,

  • To present a program that is highly integrated in context, generalistic in nature and practical.

  • To teach how results can be achieved by applying concepts in the classroom.


PREREQUISITES
  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with a minimum average of "Good".
  • Applicants whose previous education has been in a language other than English, must sumbit evidence of profficiency in the English language by achieving at least 550 in the TOEFL.
